Anyone who loves to play golf can be sure of a great round in Guernsey as well as a wonderful course in Alderney. The island boasts two contrasting 18-hole golf courses in the country as well as a 9-hole course on the outskirts of St Peter Port.
The traditional L'Ancresse course is set on common land bordering Guernsey's rugged north coast while a more highly designed "parkland" course can be found at La Grande Mare Golf Club and Country Club on the west coast. There is also a great little 9-hole course within the grounds of the St Pierre Park Hotel in St Peter Port.
